For the Press

k2kUSA is an advocacy campaign that empowers kids to connect with and advocate for each other to ensure a fair chance in life for every kid in America. Central to ensuring fairness for all kids is ending the childhood poverty crisis, which affects one in six kids in America.

k2kUSA is a project of Save the Children’s U.S. programs, the leading organization in America working to reverse the effects of childhood poverty through public-private partnership programs on early childhood education, literacy, physical activity and nutrition, and disaster relief, serving more than 18,000 kids in 13 states.

The campaign is chaired by Mark Kennedy Shriver, Managing Director of Save the Children’s U.S. Programs and Chair of the National Commission on Children and Disasters.
